Magnus Isacsson

Magnus Isacsson, born in Sweden in 1948 and died in 2012, was a Canadian documentary filmmaker whose films focused on politics and social activism. He immigrated to Canada in 1970. He worked as a producer for the CBC, and has made some 20 independent films since 1985. In his early years, Isacsson was particularly involved with the Documentary Organization of Canada (DOC), helping to form the Montreal chapter in 1988. He was also involved in the Rencontres Internationales du Documentaire de Montréal.
