Since 2010, Funambules Médias' Cinéma sous les étoiles has been offering an outdoor cinema program whose mission is to promote social, political and environmental documentary films, as well as to develop critical thinking through animated discussions about the works and issues that are addressed.

This 16th edition of the festival will feature 40 citizen-friendly screenings, all free of charge, in 17 parks and outdoor venues in Montreal. With these proximity events in the heart of the public space, both film buffs and the uninitiated can access our selection of local and international short and feature-length documentaries.
