An Anishnabe filmmaker from Val‑d'Or, Martin Gunn joined the Wapikoni collective in 2017. His first film, Les Vaillants, awarded at the Cinéma sous les étoiles festival, pays tribute to the tradition of coffin-making. Guided by his sensitivity, he explores themes of transmission and human connection in his second film, De l'ombre à la lumière.
