Josiane is a passionate director, writer and producer who firmly believes in using media as a vector for change. Josiane's versatility has enabled her to occupy a wide range of positions in Canada, Europe, South America and Africa. Her youth series, Ainsi va Manu, has been her most successful project in recent years, winning 15 awards at international festivals. The series has also been nominated for a Prix d'excellence from the Alliance média jeunesse and 4 Prix Gémeaux. In 2022, Josiane also won the WIFT Showcase Award for Best Direction and was chosen as one of Playback magazine's 10 People to Watch in 2022. Josiane's upcoming projects include her feature documentary Words Left Unspoken, season 2 of Ainsi va Manu and Hôtel Beyrouth, a new family series co-created with Ania Jamila.
