Christian Mathieu Fournier
Christian Mathieu Fournier made his documentary film debut with Maudite machine!(2002), a human portrait of the world of compulsive video poker lottery players. He went on to direct Make money, salut bonsoir! (2004), Léandre Bergeron : avec conviction sans espoir (2008) and Nallua (2015), about two Inuit women who return to the scene of a tragedy that decimated their loved ones in 1943. With Nadine Beaudet, he co-directs La maison des Syriens (2017) and its sequel, Les Syriens et Portneuf : une histoire d'accueil (2020). In 2021, he directed Jamais je ne t'oublierai, a unique and privileged insight into daily life at the heart of the CHSLD in the village of Saint-Casimir.
