SEE COMPLETE PROFILESteve Patry is a documentary director whose works have a deep social aim. His first feature, From Prisons to Prisons (2014), documents the life of different ex-cons who are trying to reintegrate society. The film received a special mention from the jury at RIDM and a Jutra Award nomination for Best Documentary. Waseskun (2016), which portrays the daily life of an alternative house for Aboriginal men, was nominated for Best Feature Length Documentary at the Canadian Screen Awards. I Might Be Dead By Tomorrow (2020), which sheds light on Montreal front-line workers working hard to provide appropriate care to the most vulnerable citizens in our society, received a nomination at the Gala Québec Cinéma for Best Documentary Film. These Wild Cats is his fourth feature film.
