SYNOPSIS

Four years ago, Olivier fulfilled his dream: opening an organic pig farm in Brittany. But since then, a severe crisis has hit organic farming, and he now risks losing everything. How can we understand that the only agricultural model preserving the environment and biodiversity is being abandoned—despite being promoted by the State?

Since 1992, Éric Guéret has been directing committed documentaries on social and environmental themes, favoring a deep immersion with his subjects. His work explores collective struggles, such as those of militant movements and unions, but also individual battles in the face of societal difficulties. He is interested in investigating important environmental issues and sensitively examines discrimination and violence, whether they affect women, the LGBTQ+ community, or victims of trauma. His first theatrical release to cinema in 2020 marked a continuity in his exploration of stories of resistance and human reconstruction.
