After thirty years of dictatorship, in 2019, the Sudanese people brought down the tyrant Omar al-Bashir. Shajan, Rufaida, and Maha are among the faces of this revolution.

In her documentary films, she focuses on all forms of resistance to the established order, always filming from the side of those who rise up.
Through her approach to the Arab and African worlds, she seeks to dismantle the prejudices that cloud the Western imagination.
