We, the Mapuche youth of Ayja Rewe Budi, as we travel the territory from north to south, meet elders along the way who share their knowledge of the Mapuche life threatened by the coastal highway project.

We, young Mapuce of Ayja Rewe Budi, as we travel the territory from north to south, meet along the way elders who share with us their knowledge of Mapuce life threatened by the coastal highway project. As we listen, as we travel, as we sing, we are alive. We are the future.

The Mapuche School of Cinema and Communication of Aylla Rewe Budi aims to strengthen and share Mapuche forms of communication, and works to build a typically Mapuche way of making films. In this context, filming workshops have been held in the traditional territory of Aylla Rewe Budi since 2011, training young Mapuche people to collectively create short films from their territory, to share with their people and the world.
