Joe Buffalo is an Aboriginal skateboarding legend. He is also a survivor of the residential school system in Canada. After a traumatic childhood and many years of addiction, Joe must face his inner demons to achieve his dream of becoming the best in his field.

Syrian-Canadian filmmaker Amar Chebib began shooting videos as a youth and skateboarding in the Middle East where he grew up. Since then, he has made a variety of award-winning short films and commercials, as well as a feature-length documentary about three Syrian musicians who became refugees. Amar resides with his wife in Vancouver and continues to work around the world.
