SYNOPSIS
A communist activist with Révolution Permanente and a CGT union representative at the Neuhauser industrial bakery in Moselle, Christian Porta is a combative militant, well-liked by his colleagues. When he falls victim to an illegal dismissal due to his political involvement, his comrades immediately attempt to secure his reinstatement. Throughout this fight, solidarity emerges in defence of a comrade who has been wronged, as the workers organise to resist anti-union repression. The film is a moving ode to the working class and to trade unionism. It is the story of a class struggle made victorious by the power of workers' solidarity.
