Eli Jean Tahchi

Lebanese-born director and screenwriter Eli Jean Tahchi's engaged cinema is sharp, human and metaphorically charged, and in which LGBTQ issues and notions of identity are regularly raised. He studied film at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts and obtained a BFA in Film Production. In 2011, he moved to Montreal and continued his studies in film at the University of Montreal, and finally, at L'inis, in the coeducational program. Since then, he has accumulated projects of various genres, culturally diverse and awarded in festivals around the world.
