SEE COMPLETE PROFILE

Mathieu Bélanger-Landry was born in Ottawa in 2001. At an early age, his passion for music led him to create his own compositions for short films. He explored his interest in cinema and went on to complete a bachelor's degree in film editing and directing at UQÀM. He puts forwards a queer and indigenous perspective through mixed medias, like 2D animation and live action. Through this approach, Mathieu aims to give a unique voice to perspectives erased by history.
