SYNOPSIS

This short film offers an immersive journey led by the voice of Islem, an environmental activist, who explores the deep connections between labor and access to water. She reveals how a fragile state structure severely affects its citizens, who, despite their daily efforts, continue to struggle in conditions of persistent precarity.

Zeineb Ben Salah is a designer, filmmaker, and production manager with a deep passion for art and audiovisuals. Holding a bachelor's degree in product design from ESSTED and a professional master's in production from ESAC, she is also pursuing studies in business and intellectual property. She has directed two notable documentary films, The Circle of Water and Femmes sur Scène, and produced People Are Thirsty. In fiction, she has contributed to several short films, including Panique à la Noce, Les Buveurs des Larmes, and 1321, and coordinated Bloody Marley. With a solid background at IFM radio in production and monitoring at the IFM Foundation, she now works as a production assistant at 9Prod, a company of Luc D’Alessandr. Passionate and creative, she continues to develop her career by combining her skills in design, production, and cinema.
