SYNOPSIS

Since 2010, Parthenais has become home to a queer community in Montreal. Gay, lesbian, trans, they share a triplex in the Centre-Sud neighborhood, creating memories between the dilapidated walls. From late-night parties to collective dinners, this apartment has had a profound effect on their lives. Twelve years later, a wealthy family bought the building, marking the end of an era of gentrification. It's the closing of a space emblematic of Montreal's queer scene, where so many stories have blossomed. Éviction narrates this change, as residents desperately search for a new home in the midst of the housing crisis and real estate speculation, in boxes too small to hold all the memories of this place.
