SYNOPSIS

Blending memories, fiction, and confessions, Silk Spun traces the story of three generations of women from the same Vietnamese family since their arrival in Quebec in 1975. Through the intimacy and vulnerability of intergenerational relationships, the director exposes the contextual disparities that transform the relationship to identity among the women of her family.
