François Jacob

François Jacob comes from literary studies before discovering the Kino film movement in 2004. He directed his first short fiction films until 2012 before working on auteur documentaries abroad. Since then, he has embarked on vast research projects, culminating in the production of the Arctic project "On Nickel's Moon" (Visions du Réel 2017) and the war saga "Under the Same Sun" (2020).

Under the Same Sun François Jacob Despite the 1994 ceasefire, there is still no real peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, who continue to fight bitterly over the mountainous region of Nagorno-Karabakh. Under the same sun, the inhabitants of the region are listening attentively.
